Terms of Service

PairedWith.Me (“Service”) is provided as-is for personal and professional use. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Lawful use and consent. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for obtaining the consent of all participants before recording or transcribing any conversation — recording-consent laws vary by place, and complying with the ones that apply to you is your responsibility, whether the conversation is in person or on a call.

Accounts and fair use. You are responsible for activity under your account. Usage is metered in minutes; we may set, change, or enforce usage limits, and may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or attempt to circumvent limits. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live to use the Service.

Paid plans. If you purchase a subscription or credits, payments are handled by our billing provider; we never see or store your card details. Prices and plan contents may change — changes apply from your next billing period, never retroactively.

No warranty. Transcripts and AI context cards are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or late — do not rely on them where accuracy matters without checking. The Service may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice. We disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page changes when we do, and continued use after a change is acceptance. Contact: legal@pairedwith.me.

Privacy Policy

Audio and transcripts. Audio is processed in real time and sent to third-party providers (Deepgram for transcription, Groq for AI responses). We do not store audio or transcripts on our servers beyond the duration of your session — when the session ends, they are gone. The transcript you see exists in your browser; copying or downloading it is your choice.

Account data. Your account is managed by our authentication provider (Clerk), which stores the sign-in details you provide (such as your name and email) to keep you signed in. We keep a per-account usage counter (minutes used and remaining) to run the meter. If you purchase a plan, billing is processed by our billing provider; we do not store card details.

Infrastructure. The app is served and operated on cloud infrastructure (currently Vercel and Fly.io), which processes network traffic the way any web host does. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversations to train models.

Deletion and contact. To delete your account and any associated data, use the delete option in your account settings — it removes your profile, linked sign-in methods, and remaining credits — or contact us at legal@pairedwith.me for deletion or any privacy question.
